SUMMARY:Hospice Awareness Bucket Appeal 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join us during Hospice Awareness Week nationwide and make a difference! \nWelcome to Hospice Marlborough’s bucket appeal for 2025! \nHospice Marlborough is privileged to provide specialist palliative care services across Marlborough through our dedicated and highly skilled team\, meeting the needs of our community through a holistic wrap around service of care. We support and educate patients\, whānau and our partners also supporting people through illness\, death\, and bereavement\, ensuring patients\, their whānau and their carers receive empathetic quality care. \nThe services of Hospice Marlborough are free to our community and as a charitable organisation we receive just over 50% funding from Te Whatu Ora.  As a result\, any funding shortfall needs to be fundraised for annually. We could not continue to provide the level and quality of care services we do without our hospice shops\, fundraising activities and ongoing support and generosity of our community. \nDuring Hospice Awareness Week our volunteers will be collecting donations throughout the community\, in the following locations from 9am – 4pm each day \n\nMonday 12th May – New World Blenheim and Pak n Save Blenheim\nTuesday 13th May – New World Blenheim\, Mitre 10 Blenheim & Springlands Woolworths\nWednesday 14th May – New World Blenheim and Pak n Save Blenheim\nThursday 15th May – New World Blenheim\, Mitre 10 Blenheim & Mariners Mall Picton\nFriday 16th May – Bunnings Blenheim\n\nEach time you donate to Hospice Marlborough you’re not just giving us coins\, you’re collectively making a huge difference to the lives of others facing life-limiting illness along with helping to surround their families with on-going support. A little or a lot\, you’re generosity is greatly appreciated. \nTogether we can help make sure our dedicated team continue to provide free services across Marlborough. We can’t do it without our community

DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Hospice Awareness Week we are excited to invite our community to come and see the centre of Hospice Marlborough with our open day!  \nWe welcome our Marlborough Community to come along and find out ways to support Hospice Marlborough. Meet our team\, explore our space and services\, take a look at volunteer opportunities all whilst grabbing a Coffee & a bite to eat.  \nThanks to the amazing Marlborough RAPID RELIEF TEAM and their continuous support\, there will be hot Coffee from 10am and delicious Burgers available from 11am with 100% of all proceeds coming directly back to Hospice Marlborough.  \nThere will be a chance to buy tickets for two amazing raffles we have on offer\, all donated by local Marlborough businesses – trust me these are NOT to missed! \nCome along and learn about the vital services Hospice provides to those in need\, learn how you can help and support our mission on continuing to provide specialist palliative care throughout Marlborough at no cost. A beautiful way to spend a couple hours of your day\, connect with the community and get lunch while you’re at it. \nStarting from 10am going through to 2pm – We hope to see you all there!  \n  \n  \n
