Marlborough Hospice Trust is inviting expressions of interest from people who are passionate about supporting specialist palliative care and contributing to the future of Hospice services in our community.
As we navigate an increasingly complex health and funding environment, strong governance and thoughtful stewardship are more important than ever. Our trustees play a vital role in setting strategic direction, overseeing organisational performance and ensuring Hospice remains sustainable for future generations.
This is a voluntary, unpaid governance position.

Hospice Marlborough provides compassionate, specialist palliative care to people and whanau across Marlborough. Our work is grounded in manaakitanga, ensuring dignity, compassion and respect remain at the heart of the care we provide.
We welcome expressions of interest from people who bring sound judgement, a collaborative approach and a commitment to our community. Experience in governance, finance, health, business, community development or other relevant fields would be valuable.
We particularly welcome expressions of interest from Māori and people who bring strong cultural understanding, experience and connections without our community.
Above all, we are looking for people who share our values and are willing to contribute their skills, perspectives and experience to the collective work of the Board.
Please email a brief expression of interest outlining your motivation for joining the Board, together with a current CV or resume highlighting your relevant experience and skills.

As an agile service provider and a charitable trust, we support and educate patients, whānau and our partners also supporting people through illness, death, and bereavement, ensuring patients, their whānau and their carers receive empathetic quality care.
