Our Volunteer Programme
Make a real difference
At Hospice Marlborough, we believe in the power of compassion and human connection, and we value our incredible team of volunteers who make a meaningful impact and a genuine difference in the lives of patients, families, and our dedicated Hospice Marlborough team.
Hospice Marlborough is a community of diverse individuals brought together by a shared commitment to making a positive impact. As a volunteer, you’ll build connections and relationships that extend far beyond your time with us, creating a network of like-minded individuals who understand the true value of giving back.
The presence and support of our volunteers can bring comfort, companionship, and relief during life’s most challenging moments, leaving a lasting impact that words can’t fully express. It is also an opportunity where your time and skills could enhance someone’s quality of life or add value to the wider Hospice team offering a profound sense of accomplishment and personal fulfilment that can come from being part of a critical support network, complimenting the care offered by our care specialists and expanding our reach, allowing us to provide comprehensive support to patients and families when they need it most.
Our volunteer team reflects the diversity of the Marlborough community, and so it is important to support people’s interests, and to make sure any volunteer experience with us is a positive one.
Volunteering for Hospice Marlborough can provide a deeply enriching experience that offers emotional rewards, personal growth, and a chance to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of others.
