Our Hospice Shops
Support Hospice by Shopping!
Hospice Marlborough is proud to have two charity stores in Redwoodtown with their success underpinned by careful strategic planning, a full-time manager, and a dedicated team of over 40 volunteers who support daily operations.
Our hospice shops are set up specifically to raise funds for hospice with all proceeds going directly back into contributing to the delivery of high-quality palliative care services for Marlborough.
An incredibly dedicated team, the hospice shops have operated within our community for the past 18 years. As vital and important contributors to our annual fundraising efforts, they also do a great job of trying to secure the best return from any article on sale, which are generally donated thanks to the generosity of our wider community.
The main shop occupies a large footprint, allowing for a wide range of goods from bric-a-brac, modern & vintage clothing, and jewellery, to books, artwork and larger items of furniture. This reflects the Marlborough Hospice Trust’s vision to have a shop occupying a niche position at the top end of local charity shops. A discount shop was set up as part of an earlier expansion and sits right next door where all items are sold for $5 or less.
The team are always keen to receive good quality secondhand items and accept donations generally during shop hours. They also continue to look for new volunteers to join them and so encourage you to drop in for a chat and have a browse around.
Proud of their friendly service and warm atmosphere, the Hospice Shops are treasure-troves created for shoppers looking for that special something for their home, wardrobe or as a gift for a friend and the team look forward to welcoming you during your next shop visit.
