In April, we officially opened our newly renovated Nurses’ Station!
This project began back in 2019 and, after a few bumps along the way (thanks, Covid), our clinical team is now absolutely thrilled with their new space – brighter, warmer, larger, and designed for comfort and efficiency.
Not only does this renovation improve the space for our staff, but it also gives our team the best chance to continue providing the specialist palliative care our community deserves. It enhances our after-hours inpatient unit reception, open 24/7, making it more welcoming for visitors and whānau too.
A huge shoutout to the incredible local businesses who brought this vision to life:
👏 Design Marlborough
👏 T & D Construction
👏 Construction Coatings
👏 Nazareth Joinery
👏 Laser Electrical
👏 Thompson Electrical
👏 Pre-Ignition
👏 Cantwell Joinery
👏 Speedy Signs
👏 Morgan Plumbing
And a special thank you to the Marlborough Hospital Equipment Trust for funding our four new heat pumps ($9,760!). We’re so grateful for your support.
