Near the end of 2025, we welcomed a new face to Hospice Marlborough. Shelley has joined us as our Quality, Safety, and Risk Lead, bringing a broad and varied background to the role. She combines strong expertise in Quality and Health & Safety with the practical foundations of her previous career in the Marlborough wine industry.
Shelley’s career experience has shaped a clear, systems-focused approach, supported by well-developed skills in guiding organisations through change and strengthening continuous improvement practices.
At Hospice Marlborough, Shelley supports the health, safety, and wellbeing of the team who deliver care to our hospice community. She actively promotes an open and collaborative safety culture where people feel informed, engaged, and encouraged to contribute.
Shelley’s work focuses on ensuring care and services are delivered to a consistently high standard, supporting strong organisational performance alongside positive outcomes for both staff and patients. Her approach is centred on building environments where quality is clearly understood, embedded, and sustained in everyday practice.
