Our Hospice Shops

Support Hospice by Shopping!

Redwoodtown

Picton

Hospice Marlborough operates four charity shops across the region, with two located in Redwoodtown, Blenheim, and two in the picturesque port town of Picton. Our shops play an important role in raising vital funds, with all proceeds going directly towards supporting the delivery of high-quality specialist palliative care services throughout Marlborough.

Overseen by full-time managers and supported by close to 100 dedicated volunteers, our Hospice Shops play an important role in raising vital funds for Hospice Marlborough and helping to address the significant funding shortfall we face each year.

We rely on the generosity of our community to help bridge this gap, whether through shopping with us for a purpose or donating quality pre-loved items. We aim to offer fair and affordable prices that reflect the value of donated goods, with something to suit every budget, from items starting at just $5 through to higher-value, near-new pieces.

Known for their friendly service and welcoming atmosphere, our Hospice Shops are true treasure troves, offering something special for everyone. Whether you’re searching for a unique piece for your home, a new addition to your wardrobe or a thoughtful gift for a friend, our team looks forward to welcoming you on your next visit.

Redwoodtown

For 22 years, the hospice shops in Redwoodtown have been key contributors to our fundraising efforts, maximising returns from generously donated items. Our main shop features a wide variety of goods, from bric-a-brac and modern & vintage clothing to books, artwork, and furniture, reflecting our aim to offer a top-tier charity shopping experience. Next door, our discount shop offers all items for $5 or less ensuring accessibility for all.

We are always eager to receive quality secondhand donations during normal business hours and welcome new volunteers to join our friendly team. Visit our shops for a warm, inviting atmosphere and discover unique treasures for your home, wardrobe, or as a gift. Shop Manager Helen and her team look forward to welcoming you!

Hospice Shops – Redwoodtown

Picton

Following the success of our Redwoodtown stores, the Picton Hospice Charity Shops are the second pair to be brought to Marlborough, expanding our reach and showcasing Hospice Marlborough’s mission and services in the area. More than just retail spaces, our charity shops serve as community support hubs and vital fundraising avenues for Hospice Marlborough.

The first of our shops opened on 26 August 2024, with the neighbouring Hospice shop following soon after, further strengthening our presence and commitment to the community.

Located at 38 and 40 High Street, each shop offers something a little different. No. 38 specialises in clothing and accessories, while No. 40 is home to a range of bric-a-brac and furniture.

We are always welcoming new volunteers to join our friendly team and encourage everyone to visit and support our shops. Every purchase makes a difference, with all proceeds going towards supporting the palliative care we provide throughout Marlborough.
