Kia ora tātou. With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Helen’s journey began in Christchurch and led her to Grey Hospital (now Te Nikau Hospital) on the West Coast. Throughout her career, Helen has embraced various roles ranging from clinical practice across diverse areas to nurse education, duty nurse management, and Nurse Manager of a Medical/Critical Care Unit.
In the last 15 years, Helen’s focus shifted to Primary Care at West Coast PHO, where serving initially as a Clinical Manager she eventually assumed the position of Chief Executive for the past 9 years.
With a philosophy of sharing knowledge and empowerment, Helen maintains an open-door policy, nurturing a supportive atmosphere where every question is valued. Eager to connect and collaborate, Helen enjoys working with her Hospice Marlborough colleagues’ and fostering collective achievements that will ensure quality care and service to patients and whānau.
